Hassan Maroun, founding editor & CEO
Hassan Maroun is the founder and CEO of The Palestine Observer. With a passion for writing and amplifying Palestinian related issues caused by the occupation, he set out to unite volunteers with shared interests in producing educational material. He is also currently studying sociolinguistics.
Lynda Hamilton, weekly contributor
Lynda Hamilton is a Scottish journalist, editor and independent publisher with a keen eye on the Middle East and Asia. Having clocked up more than 25 years’ industry experience writing and editing various titles, from women’s magazines to broadsheet newspapers, she now specialises in current affairs, human rights, health and animal welfare. Lynda has a particular interest in amplifying the voices of those in Palestine, Syria and the rest of the Levant, as well as other diasporic communities such as Kurdistan.
